Warranty, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Because our services involve device evaluation, labor, and hardware components, refunds for completed services or installed components are generally not offered once work has begun.

1. Upfront Pricing & Approval

Customers receive clear, upfront pricing before any service is performed. No work is started without customer approval.

2. Cancellations Before Service Begins

If a customer chooses to cancel before any service work has started, they may be
eligible for a refund of any deposit paid, minus any diagnostic or evaluation fees,
if applicable.

Diagnostic or evaluation fees are non-refundable, as they cover time and expertise
already provided.

3. No Refunds After Service Completion

Once a service has been completed or components have been installed, refunds are
not provided.

In such cases, the applicable remedy is limited to warranty service as outlined below.

Most hardware-related services performed by Computer World Plus, Kuilsriver, Cape Town include a 30-day Limited Warranty unless stated otherwise based on Device/Product/Service/Condition, which covers:

  • Workmanship related to the completed service

  • Installed service components provided by Computer World Plus, Kuilsriver, Cape Town

Warranty Does NOT Cover

  • Physical or accidental damage after service

  • Liquid or moisture damage

  • Software-related issues or data loss

  • Issues unrelated to the completed service

  • Damage caused by subsequent service performed by another provider

  • Normal wear and tear


Warranty claims do not qualify for refunds. The warranty remedy is limited to **services** or replacement of the affected service component, at our discretion.

Important Disclosures

  • Service outcomes may vary depending on device condition, prior services, and component availability.

  • Customers are responsible for backing up all data prior to service.
    Computer World Plus, Kuilsriver, Cape Town is not responsible for data loss.

  • Computer World Plus, Kuilsriver, Cape Town is an independent device service provider and is not affiliated with,
    endorsed by, or authorized by any device manufacturer.

  • All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

  • Computer World Plus, Kuilsriver, Cape Town does not take any responsibility for loss of work due to a Device or Part not being available or deemed faulty and due for replacement.

  • Any incorrect information received and applied or any miscommunication will be resolved fairly with provided proof of conversation in Writing via WhatsApp or Email Communication with no edited messages allowed during trying to resolve the issue.

  • 7-14 Days to Resolve any issues internally if need be

Software Liability:

All software is the responsibility of the Customer, our refurbished units come standard with the suitable version of Operating System that is best compatible with the Hardware. Should the customer do Upgrades that are not compatible; Computer World Plus will not take any responsibility whatsoever.

In-Store Warranty on all Products:

Physical Shop Warranty Policy: Warranty does not cover any alterations or modifications or addition made to the goods or supply or general misuse and abuse of goods.

Return Policy: Returns are possible given that the item is in received condition and within the 7 day period. The client will NOT be eligible for a cash refund and will only be given the choices of either a replacement or credit.
