Software Upgrades

24 Hour to 48 Hour turn around time.

Terms & Conditions:
  • Call or email ahead to confirm your computer can support the operating software upgrade.
  • Your computer must be able to support newer versions of your preferred OS.

CWP does not guarantee software reloads due to the nature of the software and hardware compatibility that you use or prefer to use on your device.

We do not guarantee legacy software compatibility. (Upgrading to a newer version might not allow your older software to work if you do not update your third-party software, for example: Adobe products, AutoCAD, graphics, network legacy devices, and MS Office. Please check that your third-party software is compatible before opting to upgrade your software.)

Operating system licensing is the customer’s responsibility.

We do not take any responsibility for any damages or lost productivity during or after your computer or device has received the software upgrade.

We will not be held responsible should the client fail to use the operating system responsibly (e.g., custom coding, etc.).

Every fresh installation, especially Windows computers, requires up-to-date antivirus software immediately after installation. We are not responsible for keeping any serial keys or software.

We will not be held responsible for any power surges, mechanical issues, or extreme usage once the device leaves our premises.

Hard drive upgrades, although possible, are installed professionally, and we are not responsible for any deterioration of existing motherboards, ribbons, displays, or any other parts of the computer while accessing the device’s internal components to replace or upgrade a hard drive, SSD, or any other form of storage.

The customer fully understands that all information on the device will be completely erased.

There are no guarantees with operating system upgrades or installations given the common complexities.

Any "cracked" software (illegally installed) and/or games installed that could corrupt your device are not our responsibility to back up or maintain in any way after the fact.
