This past weekend, 15 - 17 May, the SHIFT Event was hosted at Somerset Mall, and it was a huge success. From serious esports competitors to individuals simply looking for an exciting day out with friends- they had some serious fun.
EA FC 26 and Fortnite, Rocket League, Beat Saber, Minecraft, Tekken, and more - there’s something for every type of gamer. Visitors joined tournaments, challenged friends in free-play stations, competed for leaderboard prizes, and experienced some of the latest gaming technology - and it’s all completely free to enter.
Epic Plays & Huge Prizes at the Somerset Qualifiers
The Somerset Qualifier Prizes included gift cards from R1000 to R2500 and National prizes range from R2500 to R25 000 cash. The tournaments of the past weekend included Brawlhalla, Subway Surfers, Beatsaber, and EA Sports FC 26 NG- the gamers were on fire!
